My second career as a high school English teacher informs my work. Public education does not teach soft skills and generally fails to teach group processes. In my work, I promote a model based on a small group model using interactive curriculum.










At the Public Square Academy, I work to teach critical thinking and analysis to adult learners; to raise the level of individual citizenship. I don't see an adult ed forum, so curious to connect with any of you working in that space. I look forward to learning from and collaborating with the community.










Michel Freedman is the Founder and Director of The Public Square Academy (PSA), whose mission is to “educate, empower, and engage people in their personal, economic, and civic lives.” PSA uses a design and delivery model based on personalized learning, blended delivery, and mentored small groups to produce courses and forums.
