Jeffrey Schraeder
I’ve had quite a long career starting in engineering and flowing through computers (IBM in the 1960’s), information technology, business management (COO of a technology company), marketing, board positions on publicly traded companies, entrepreneur (created and sold three companies), and for the last 20 years consulting to high level executives. I am also a painter (oil & watercolor) and a photographer.

My current interests are adult human development and my reading in this area includes Otto Laske, Elliott Jaques, Robert Kegan, and Clare Graves among others. The two major disciplines that I practice are Requisite Organization and TOC (The Theory of Constraints - I worked with Eli Goldratt, the creator of TOC, for the last two years of his life)

Process Consultation (Edgar Schein) was my approach to working with high level executives.

I read a lot (average about 100 books a year). I’m not sure that I have been all that productive in my learning. Perhaps I read too many books across too many subjects. I have recently been researching learning methods and tools to help me read more productively. I am currently using a variation of Zettelkasten ( Niklas Luhmann ) to organize my notes.

I look forward to collaborating and contributing to this community.
