People frequently impose rules on others without seeing themselves as obliged to even give reasons for these rules. People also tend to assume their group’s norms to be inherently ethical, and they expect everyone to behave in accordance with these norms.
Think of some examples of beliefs, coming from group ideologies, that have been imposed on you (and that you have not already focused on thus far in working through these activities). These are beliefs your culture or group expects you to accept unquestioningly. What are some implications of people uncritically accepting these beliefs?
